Sir Rodney is the Honorary President of the Community Foundation of Wakefield. The Community Foundation supports people across the Wakefield and Five Towns district.
Through the grants they offer, the funds they raise via The Community Give Box, and the donations they redistribute, they help households struggling with fuel poverty, provide funding for various local projects, support local businesses to survive and thrive, enable community groups to deliver their particular brand of help, recognise the extraordinary contributions people make to their communities throughout the district.
The foundation’s mission is to inspire local giving, support communities and change lives.
